Looking to hit the open road in a shiny new sports car designed for living on a whim? Well, maybe the 2014 Audi TT isn’t so much a lifestyle choice, as it is an all-around awesome ride. But if you’re looking for a car that makes you feel as young as its own innovations, then the Audi TT Coupe or Roadster might be the car for you. If you’re in the market for a new car in 2014, then read on to learn about The Audi TT’s four best features and exactly how they stack up.

1. The Sleek Exterior

Car Connection gives the Audi TT and 8.0 out of 10 for its exterior, noting, “Low-slung and sleek, with a squat, wide stance thanks to its flared fenders and taut coupe roofline, the Audi TT looks almost like it’s mid-engined. That’s a good thing.” The look is definitely sporty, and its overall distribution gives it the sharp look of a corner-slicing machine. The exterior comes in several colors including Misano Red Pearl and Samoa Orange, as well as basic black. The Audi TT is a true show car that will definitely impress your friends and family.

2. The Cool Drop-Top

The Audi TT comes in the Coupe or Roadster model. The Coupe is a fixed hard top model, whereas the Roadster, of course, offers a drop-top. The Roadster was designed with casual cruising in mind. This exciting model features a folding soft top for easy on, easy off summertime rides you’ll never forget. The soft top is lighter weight than the hardtop versions of its competitors giving less strain on the TT’s speed with little to weigh it down.

3. The Powerhouse Engine

The 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine handles like a dream and a quick one at that. Auto Trader reports, “The drivetrain features Quattro all-wheel drive and a 6-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission.” The Audi TT is sure to have extremely fast pickup. The 22 MPG city isn’t exactly what you’d expect from a car this size, but the speed certainly makes up for it.

4. The Rich Interior

The Audi TT interior was recently revealed at the 2014 Consumer Electronics show, according to UK-based newspaper The Telegraph, “The main innovation is the “Audi virtual cockpit” – a fully digital instrument cluster with a 12.3in TFT screen that allows the driver to switch between two displays. In the “classic” view, the speedometer and rev counter are in the foreground, in “infotaintment” mode the virtual instruments are smaller and the space is filled with other functions, such as the satnav map.” Along with these features, the interior will also have the following and more:

  • Auto-dimming rearview mirror and digital compass
  • Auto climate control
  • Optional leather upholstery

The highly anticipated Audi TT will roll onto the roads in summer of 2014 and consumers will eagerly await its arrival. From the showy exterior to innovative interior, this car begs drivers to get behind the wheel. Will you take it for a test drive? What’s your favorite feature of this sporty ride?
