Audi quattro cup – El Niguel Member-Guest Golf Tournament

The famous professional golfer, Arnold Palmer once said, “Golf is deceptively simple and endlessly complicated.” I agree – it looks much easier than it really is. My hat goes off to the 128 golfers from El Niguel Country club who played in the 2 day Member-Guest quattro Cup; they were so skilled and talented! Everyone had a blast! Audi Mission Viejo had 3 magnificent cars on display: A8 TDI, Q7 TDI and of course the amazing R8 GT. George Estonactoc,  Audi Brand Specialist, was there to answer all questions and demonstrate the vehicles for the golfers. George’s online reviews can be read on his respective review site link.

Audi Mission Viejo hosted a hole-in-one contest with an A5 on display. We also set up and a bar for golfers to enjoy a variety of German and Wisconsin beers, supplied in non-other than an Audi koozie.  I have to admit, Leinenkugel was the most popular beer of the day. Also, at our hole, we offered guests a chance to enter a raffle to win a “Weekend Escape” package, which included one night stay at the St. Regis Resort in Dana Point, as well a use of the A5 for the entire weekend – you can’t beat that for a summer raffle! The winner of the Weekend Escape was announced at the awards dinner, as well as 1st place and 2nd place tournament winners.

Congratulations to Virgil and Aaron for winning the El Niguel Member-Guest quattro Cup. Virgil and Kyle will be moving on to the U.S. Final at Kiawah Island Golf Resort on Kiawah Island near historical Charleston, South Carolina. Recently, this course was rated as “American’s Toughest Resort Corse” by Golf Digest. Virgil and Aaron will be able to enjoy golfing on ten miles of panoramic ocean beach views as they complete to move onto the World Final at Trump National Golf Club in Los Angeles. Best of luck!!
