Audi Q5 to receive V6 TDI engine in 2014

Audi recently confirmed that the Audi Q5 will indeed be receiving the popular diesel engine found in current models such as the Q7 and A3.

According to Audi, the U.S.-spec Q5 TDI will get a 3.0-liter turbo-diesel V-6, pushing 245 hp plus a 428 lb-ft of torque. Audi predicts that the Q5 TDI will reach 60 mph from a standstill in less than 6.5 seconds while achieving fuel economy of 37 mpg combined. The Q5 TDI is expected to hit showrooms (including Audi Mission Viejo’s!) ┬áin the summer of 2014.
